Associated Bank's Augmented Reality Marketing Activation at the Brewer’s MLB Stadium

My team was tasked with creating an immersive fan experience at the Milwaukee Brewers’ Miller Park.* We devised, designed, and developed an Augmented Reality Home Run Derby mini-game that would live in the Miller Park concourse throughout the entire 2016 MLB season as Associated Bank's primary marketing activation. Fans stepped up to the plate wielding a plastic bat as our custom-designed AR game used a Kinect to mirror their movements in a batter on a TV screen in front of them. We meticulously crafted the game’s avatars, stadium, and gameplay elements. We recreated Milwaukee’s Miller Park even down to the stadium’s signature giant yellow slide in the outfield bleachers. We were given tight timeline, which posed a challenge, but my team nevertheless delivered a seamless blend of technology and fandom for a home run of a marketing activation.

*Note: Miller Park was renamed American Family Field in 2020
